The ground-breaking ceremony of The Proposed Hekima University was graced by Archbishop Maurice Muhatia, The then Nakuru County Deputy Governor Dr Eric Korir, who led the ceremony of  the in Baraka Area of Molo, Nakuru. The proposed university will be built on a 75-acre parcel of land and the construction is set to be implemented in three phases. The first phase beginning in June 2022 and ending by December 2023 while the other two will be completed by 2024. The proposed university is set to offer programs in Data Science, Business, Education Science, and Engineering. The proposed university aims to reach students from all over the country and especially the needy ones.
